Although our team may now number more than 650 people, we remain committed to neutralising our impact on the planet.
We do this by supporting our own environmental management goals and then leveraging this experience to provide green services to staff and customers. All our offices are accountable for implementing and adhering to the UXC Connect Environment Policy developed as part of our ISO14001 accreditation. This includes:
- Minimising carbon emissions through audits and resulting reduction initiatives
- Reducing power consumption from lighting, air-conditioning and a range of ICT initiatives
- Following the UXC Connect Green Office program to “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle” paper, packaging, ICT consumables
- Providing preference to renewable resources whenever they are available
- Working with technology partners and suppliers who are committed to excellent environmental practise
- Ensuring staff are informed as to how to conduct their activities in consideration of the environment
- Promoting home working through secure remote access and other software and hardware tools.
For environmentally conscious customers, UXC Connect can provide eWaste services as part of their deployment project and Environmental Audits for their organisations.
